Welcome to the Fetal Medicine Centre in Verona

The Fetal Medicine Centre in Verona was created by doctors trained in Fetal Medicine by the pioneer of this field Professor Kypros Nicolaides. Part of the profits from the centre are donated to the Fetal Medicine Foundation(Registered Charity No 1037116). The Foundation gives scholarships to Italian doctors for postgraduate training in Fetal Medicine in London.

The Fetal Medicine Foundation has introduced an educational programme for parents which includes:

Internet course on the 11-13 weeks scan: This course lasts for one hour and is free of charge. It covers all the important aspects of first-trimester screening for chromosomal abnormalities, the diagnosis of major fetal defects and screening for preeclampsia.
